Is playing tf2 in 2025 worth it?
With all this talk about how 'Tf2 used to be so much better' should i even play it?

Its playable and enjoyable, but people crave the old quickplay system for matches and matchmaking because it did not have a lot of problems the current casual matchmaking system have. Sure it wasnt perfect either, but a bit more fitting to TF2's gameplay at its core.

So basically yeah you can play it alright, but it wouldn't be as good as it could be

Yes it is playable and fun, but it would be much more fun if Casual got the boot.

There's a fair bit more waiting to play the game, and a larger amount of matches where one side steamrolls the other due to the game having a non-functional matchmaking system, but there's still some fun to be had overall? 2fort text conversations are usually batshir insane, can be a good time for sure

It used to be "so much better" for people who are in a similar boat to you where they only made their accounts within the last 5 years.

You're also asking random people for an opinion instead of making your own, so you fit right in.
