5vitasaw
However, I do feel the Ubersaw needs a different negative effect, the slower firing rate really doesnt change much. But I use Vita-saw anyways.

Does it force you to do it. At any time, does it make you taunt.
Completly option ability, and if you never use it, it's same as stock.
Directupgradescrub
Trying to go for a melee swing as the last class that should logically ever make use of their melee weapon to begin with is all but undeserving of the Übersaw's reward, doubly so considering that the Übersaw is even worse at the job of meleeing than every other weapon the
Medic can produce for that slot.
The Vitasaw on the other hand..

Very pointy.
But mainly it's a straight, straight upgrade to stock - and not in the balanced way that has a certain teamwork-requirement taped to their rewards like the other Medic melees - in any environment where a Medic dies more often than he gets away to live with less than 11 hitpoints. Read: Every environment.
So, no requirement, no downside, and an impact that can measure up to an Über being ready 4 seconds earlier than usual.
