go to the market place, browse items you like and buy it, if it's too expensive put a buy order that fits your price/value and it'll usually get fullfilled in the next steam sale when people are selling their junk to buy more games. also halloween/smissmass are great times to catch deals as people sell their stuff for keys and the new items.

if you want it now now on the other hand you'll have to pay premium. if it's cases you seek then at best you'll make %50 of what you spend buying keys unless you get a lucky score.
