SF 2024 Please fix Ghost Fort
Scream Fortress is fast approaching. There will inevitably be new maps.
But one older map has been neglected for several years and is a pale shadow of its former self, from those glorious days of spell collecting (farming).

1. Merasmus spawns way too frequently, it's annoying. Please reduce his spawn times.

2. Merasmus is way too easy to kill at low levels. He should be challenging, as before (but not difficult, because contracts).

3. There is no need for the truce. It's unbalanced and annoying. Most players will work together, but it can sometimes be fun to take advantage of the distraction. Other boss maps don't have a truce. Ghost Fort didn't have it originally.

This could be a fun map again. That comedy, those voice lines, the effects, the prop hunt thing. It was once a great experience but has been reduced to a tedious slog with matches that feel like they'll never end.

Valve please restore it to its former glory.

actually just remove some maps too please, getting kinda bloated
no need to remove from the game entirely, but just remove them from the map pool
there like nearly 90 halloween maps, some just being reskins, big poo poo

I really hope TF2's 2024 Halloween update 'revives' the feel of many of the earlier Scream Fortresses!

Map reskins in tf2 have always seemed like a strange case to me.

No Truce would solve the merasmus spawn too frequently issue since people aren't gonna end up killing him as much. The chance of him spawning increases the more he's killed.

on one hand they can be really cool to see and play, but afte a while they just get boring, what if map reskins had special stats?

His spawn times depend on how many times he gets killed. If he gets killed too many times, he will keep spawning more frequently. If he gets killed only a few times, he won’t spawn as much. If you don’t want him to spawn way too frequently, avoid killing him and wait until he leaves the map. The same goes for monoculus on eyeaduct

They should remove both the contracts and soul gargoyles and bring back the haunted halloween gifts from the scream fortress years 2010-2014. Getting halloween cosmetics from the haunted halloween gifts was better than getting them from the halloween contracts because unlike the contracts, the haunted halloween gifts wouldn’t force us to play on specific halloween maps in order to get our cosmetics, and instead, they’d randomly spawn on any halloween map that we were playing on, similar to the soul gargoyles.

i think the contract are more acessible, instead i think they should like something similar to the haunted gifts but with something cooler like weapon reskins

Reminds me of Bloodwater, where you had lots of Headless Horseless Horsemen roaming around at some point. Or I think one of the stone maps (might be wrong though, but it was some halloween payload map), where two MONOCULi chill around the last point.
