This girl named @TF2_SFM on twitter managed to directly fight in the war against the bots and got valuable info. although she was a woman, she was able to get omegatronics ip address and with help of a secret group she is working on getting omegatronics personal information

in an act of retaliation all the cretin bot hosters hacked her account and deleted it and posted bad things in it, but this is a big win for the tf2 community. we are going to do this and beat the bot hosters. if we do this to more bot hosters they will stop after people go into their house.

It’s really hard to know if you’re baiting or not. You say the most idiotic things, but I know there’s people out there delusional enough to say them.

I only request that you get the help you need. Saying these things isn’t okay, and you need to really reconsider your thoughts. Also, I know you wouldn’t say these things if you weren’t hiding behind your alts. Consider using your main next time?

TBH, I think while it was over the top to dox OMEGATRONIC, it was also inevitable. There's this one medieval painting of a jester aggravating a bunch of dogs while just out of reach and that is this situation. The botting is one thing, but if they didn't make such a spectacle of it and piss so many people off, this might never have happened.

But I don't think it will stop the bot problem, at least, not for long. This game is notoriously old and not updated in a while, making it easy for script kiddies with too much time but 0 hours on grass to set up bots just because they think being annoying and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ is funny.

Edit: And to clarify, I think it IS ♥♥♥♥♥♥ to dox someone over hosting bots. Yes, their behavior is terrible and making things terrible for everyone else, but threatening to kill, maim or ruin someone's life over it is both childish and, ultimately, would never solve the problem that is making you mad in the first place. If you want anyone to blame, the most likely candidate would be Valve for allowing the game to be like this. But even then, don't do any crazy stuff.
