You can use this for example: https://gamebanana.com/mods/206352 Which is the scout animation pack by Paysus. (You can probably use any animation pack you want)
To get a pack like this to work in casual all you have to do is install it (following the guide/ReadMe) and install a script into your autoexec.cfg (if you don't know what that is just look it up it's really simple to use) just copy-paste this into a line somewhere in there;
map itemtest; wait 5; disconnect; wait 3; echo
This will execute when you launch the game, instantly connect you to a local server running the itemtest map and wait 5 ticks before dropping you back out to the main menu and it then tells you it worked in your console. If you don't care about casual custom animations you don't have to do this but it's recommended for mods that do not work in casual normally if you still want to use them.
The only real downside to this script is you won't have music on your main menu anymore when booting the game.
