Team Fortress 2
Pyro Has Really Terrible Cosmetic Options, Maybe Even The Worst In The Game :/
Ever since I got back into TF2, I've been doing a lot of trading; something I've always wanted to do but never had the means, experience, (or balls) to try out. I've been having a blast with that lately, putting together badass loadouts is a ton of fun, and it feels good to step out on the battlefield wearing your new favorite duds, knowing your enemies coat themselves with jarate every time they see your turn a corner. However it's also been a challenge, one I've struggled with most with Pyro.

It may just be my opinion, but I feel the vast majority of Pyro's cosmetics are either: genuine, literal garbage, Halloween costumes, or tacky, out-of-place junk that should have never been added to the game to begin with. Seriously, it's been incredibly frustrating trying to find a decent Pyro set that fits together, all of his cosmetics are so random, make no sense, and rarely synchronize with each other, and even the ones that do are often terrible Halloween costumes in their own regard. Like really, who wants to dress their pyro up as a chef?... or Sherlock Holmes?... or looking like hes's going fishing or something?.. They're just lame, uninspired, and boring, and on top of that, the only decent ones that actually fit him are either only WW1 themed, expensive as hell to anyone who isn't a trading whale, or both.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, Pyro needs- no, needed better ♥♥♥♥. Most of the other 8 classes in the game have (for the most part...) a plethora of interesting, stylish cosmetics, that serve to compliment their original designs, while Pyro is simply left as this tacky, furry-fodder dumping ground for all the leftover discount Halloween store crap no one wanted. It's just very painfully disappointing as someone whose favorite class in the game, from the very first day he picked the Orange Box version of TF2, is Pyro, and always will be Pyro. I'd like to see him be taken seriously as a member of the team, as the real, insane, pyromaniac MERCENARY that he is.

My solution: Less hats/clothes, more tactical gear/stuff that actually belongs on a battlefield, and fits for a mercenary who uses flames as a primary weapon. Pyro wears a specially designed suit that's made to be flame-resistant, why then does he have so many cloth and regular clothing options that would burn from his own flames when set on fire?Just some food for thought... If anyone has any suggestions for a decent Pyro loadout, or would like to share theirs, please send them my way. Thank you.

If you haven't done these cosmetic combos here is my list
- Hazmat Headcase with the Space Diver and the Crusader's Getup
-Trickster's Turnout Gear with the Air Raider or most Pyro head replacements with the Brigade Helm
-The Mask Loyalty with the Hot case
- The Winter Wonderland Wrap with the style with no strips with the Wanderer's Wear with the Scorched Earth Stomper
- The wizard pyro set with the Mair Mask
- Torcher's Trench Coat with the Foster's Facade with the Vintage-Merrywheater
- The Pyromancer's Mask with the El Muchacho
- The Sengoku Scorcher with the Flame Warrior
The Foster's Fascade with the Death Support Pack
- And other stuff that is hard to mix with

Also paints exist so they should help cosmetics match more with each other and also all class cosmetics exist, though there are like 4-6 of them that actually look good on Pyro.
My issue with most of those is the same as in my original post. They can almost all be defined as costumes, or Halloween costumes. The Space Diver is just an astronaut costume, the Crusaders Getup is just an Antman costume, The Masked Loyalty, the Hot Case, WW1 costumes, the wizard pyro set, the Sengoku, the Pyromancer- costume, costume, costume. Why do so many Pyro sets insist on putting him in endless halloween costumes that barely compliment his original design? Add to top it all off, the halfway decent ones in that list are gonna be out of your budget if you aren't willing to drop at least half a key or more on a single cosmetic. Personally I'd rather save my metal and wait until he gets something that actually fits him for once.

Gibus is all you need
there have been some decent options recently but I always prefer very military looking things given the game involves combat
I am proud of my pirate duck and i dont care how ugly it looks.

I actually like Pyro's selection of cosmetics the most out of all the classes - but then again, I'm one of the few weirdos who found a use for the Pyr'o Lantern, of all things

Bro Sniper literally has the best if not one of the classes with the best cosmetics
Wandering wraith, pampered pyro, jungle wreath are good
