Collector's Strange items?

What would happen, if say for example ; you put on a Collector's chem item onto a Strange Machina, would it become a Collector's Strange Machina, with the red text, instead othe orange?

nope. That weapon will get discarded towards the set and will be a MASSIVE waste because you dont get a strangifier or whatever from it, you just get the collectors weapon itself.

Well there is a Pomson 6000 strangefier, but VALVe isn't that dumb and apparently there is no collectors chemistry set for the Pomson.
