Demoman's Eye
I think I have a possible explanation as to why the Demoman's eye never grew back in the Meet The Medic video. At first I was going to say that the Demoman's eye injury is psychosematic, meaning that his injury is just in his head. That could work, but the problem I saw in that explanation is that the Medigun can heal all injuries, that includes brain injuries right? I heard a sound clip of the Demoman saying, "Eye for an eye, wizard man!" Perhaps Merasmus placed a curse apon the Demoman's eye, so that it could never be healed. In a game as ridiculous and wacky as TF2, is an explanation like that really that out there? In the comments leave your explanation as to why the Demoman's eye was never healed.

Your theory may be possible but when u get the monoculous cosmetic it says demomans childhood injury story so maybe he lost his eye and merasmus created monoculus to haunt him

The reason is because the eye is haunted and is practically irreplaceable. I blame wizard magic in that regard.

For his treachery of dare touching the eldritch horror that is that dreaded book his eye was forever turned into a monster!

It's still teeeechnically there, just not present in his head, and he's blind in it because it's sentient or hurts or maybe he CAN see outta it or something. Either way, since it already exists the medic can't "regrow" what's already there due to magical reasons.

Magic logic.

His eye was never completely destroyed, it just became a giant evil monster. So I'm guessing the medi gun sees his eye as still being there.
