Why Does Valve Hate BLU?
In all the shorts, it seems that all that's focused on the REDs killing the BLUs. The only short Valve created that involved BLUs killing REDs is "Meet the Sanvich", which is proved by the RED Shot beer bottle in the fridge.
TL;DR: I think Valve hates BLUs due to all the shorts made by them.

It's just how the shorts work. Red is the good guys, Blu is the bad guys.
Never changed and never will change, with the sole exception of the Mann vs Machine trailer.

Same thing happened in the End of the Line SFM, by the way.

I was focusing more on Valve created content.

also it's not that valve hates blue but
blue is seen more as attacking
if they are attacking they have to deal against strong defense
if you think about an irl example D day WWII
you have alotta offense and little defense on the beach
there will be more casualtites taking the beach than defending it also in any scenario
thats why
valve doesn't hate blue by making it look less superior, blue just sacrifices more people because it i almost always on offense

Yeah, but still, since RED is just tearing stuff down and destroying it while BLU is building stuff, wouldn't it make more sense for BLU to be the good guys?

I think the biggest question is why the hell are reds defending a cart while blues are using it to destroy things? Shouldn't it be the other way around?

In my opinion, they should have done it alternating - BLU winning in Meet the Soldier, RED winning in Meet the Pyro, BLU winning in Meet the Spy, RED winning in Meet the Heavy etc. But they should have BLU triumphing at some point in the comics and videos.

RED - Reliable Excavation Demolition
BLU - Builders League United

In my mind, things are getting built by BLU and destroyed by RED enough times that it's simple retaliation by BLU on Payload.

For the OP, I'd say it's more that Valve hates the BLU Soldier more than the BLU Team. He dies in every "Meet the..." video. Look into those videos again - Heavy guns one down (Heavy), Heavy breaks his spine (Sandvich), he gets hit by a train (Scout), killed by headshot (Sniper) and rocket (Soldier), Heavy guns dozens more down (Medic), he's blown up (Demoman), gunned down by sentries (Engineer), stabbed to death (Spy), and has a hole blasted through him (Pyro).

Also, watch Meet the Sandvich again. The Team getting killed by the Heavy is BLU ("You call that breaking my spine? You RED Team ladies wouldn't know how to break a spine if--" *CRACK!!!* "--AAAHH! MY SPINE!!!").

It's because the meet the team series was filmed by the director to documnet the red team, but he was killed before getting to do the blue mercs. Hence the red mercs are the main characters.

there should be some blu videos from valve so that both sides are represented
