The Loch n Load nerf.
Once upon the time, the loch n load was the feared weapon of the demoman, requiring skill to hit enemies and not the regular M1,M2 stickybomb launcher demoman who is lazy beyond all reason. Then Valve nerfed it to only deal 124 max damage and for just a few minutes of playing, I havn't gotten out a lot of situations that I would have gotten out of if the Loch n Load dealt at least 125 damage.

Who agrees that Valve should buff it back up again?
Who disagrees?

It's your call...

>implying that landing 2 faster moving nades requires more skill than landing 4

Just saying.

Anyways, I think that's that it should be maxed out at 125 and leave it at that. But, to be honest, I am more of a stock nade if I play so I am not best judge of that.
well you do have 1 extra shots to kill that scout you were aiming....
and lets be honest we dont want to make this like the sticky launcher nerf

Oh boo hoo.
I'm sorry for your loss.

Now it actually feels more fair to 125 HP classes.

I hate this new update, the loch n' load was the only reason for me to played as demo.
I haven't seen any update to improve any weapon, they only get worse. Remember what happened to the familiar fez set? Liberty launcher?

The whole point of loch n load is to kill 125 hp classes

now valve took away its only reason and plus took away its blast radius by 25%

now I find my strange pro killstreak loch and load to be a waste

I think that sells well in the market

well it has the extra clip, but it is more of a sentrybusting weapon now, when you think about it.

It is like the 125 HP classes always have full health.

You can still one shot them if they got atleast 1 damage.

Scouts are fast so they really shouldn't get hit by the pellets.
Snipers are far away from the battle.
Engineers are protected by their sentries and the Shotgun is more powerful than u think.
Spies shouldn't get detected and they have the dead ringer.

They all have stuff to defend themselves with ease.

Good, Loose Cannon was always the better gl sidegrade, and that got a massive buff this update

Now if we act a little more serious and LOOK at the changes more sensibly, you're getting the best possible damage from your gl all the time now that locational damage has been removed from them on a direct hit. You're going to be always getting 120-124 damage on your LL so this means it's going to be consistently getting good damage (360 damage is enough to off anyone but an overhealed heavy) and they're easier to aim with due to better firing speed.

Regardless, realistically, you're going to still be one shotting scouts. Most of the time, they're going to be taking damage from other sources, even if it's minor damage, if they lose 5hp at any time during a battle, that's an instagib with the LL. Also, most scouts use sandman, so they're going to get instagibbed by the LL anyway, and if they use atomizer they're going to take 15hp damage if they dare triple jump, also causing an instagib situation.

The "nerf" isn't harsh at all, it removes the luck element and encourages more skilled tactical play. The explosion radius penalty is to make up for the fact you take normal self damage now, it's there to try to keep the weapon balanced (and to stop rage from a single LL pipe from cleaning out a team because it critted just at the right time)

buff it back, the ability to 1 hit kill weak classes was all it had going for it

I main Demoknight and use Loch N' Load only as covering fire to get away from a bad situation or to get some sniper or sentry out of range. This nerf doesn't really seem as bad as people make it up to be.
