The iron bomber, good or bad?
Just trying to get some opinions if I should try it out in my demo main set.
Feedback is well appreciated :D

I hear it is like Lock 'N Load. If you have good aim, use it.

the sticky bomb or the grenade launcher for demo man
grenade launcher-dont have it but seems underpowered since you lose damage even though the grenades stay in place
sticky launcher- that solves the stock problem but makes a completely new one
also a big ♥♥♥♥ you to scottish resistance since it can also destroy stickies

It's "meh".
With it's slow rollers, it allows you to place mini traps, I guess. With the correct timing, you can shoot one by a door and the splash damage will hit an enemy.
It also makes Grenade Jumping easier, since the grenades are pretty much stationary.

Honestly, in my opinion, it sounds like it would go well with a Demoknight. The little amount of roll allows for grenade jumps to be executed much easier than before. However, with the nerf to the Tide Turner (which was by far the best shield), Demoknighting has become a bit more difficult. On the other hand, Valve decided to buff a few of his other weapons to promote their use on Demoknights more (Ali Baba's Wee Booties & the Claidheamh Mor both giving 25% extra charge on kill, which if either are paired with the Tide Turner, it can almost be like the pre-nerf Turner). All in all, it's an interesting concept. When I first read it's description, I thought it was going to be absolutely horrible. But maybe the no-roll grenades can actually have good uses. Only time will tell, I suppose.

I've been using the Iron Bomber for a bit, I mostly use the Loch and Load so I don't have to much trouble hitting targets, but unlike a Loch and Load, I don't feel as you are punished for missing as much, as they do not roll at all, so if you did miss the direct hit, you could still get a splash damage kill, it also has some situations where a roller would be useless, I saw a person using it to defend the final point of steel while at A, where a roller would normally just bounce straight off the point, or the Loch and Load would be harder to hit from the small window, it also as spikefist said allows for easier pipe jumping for say a Demoknight, and it also works as a mini carpet bomb style of grenade, allowing for area denial, while I personally think it was made around the concept of being a Demoknight, I see no reason a normal Demo couldn't use it. As a added bonus it looks and sounds badass. I find it hard to choose between The Iron Bomber, and my Loch and Load, even after the buff to it.
It's a weapon based around rollers. There's some value to it I guess but I'm not a fan of any roller based weapons.

What benefit to it comes from aim? It's just like stock if you only get directs, except with a smaller explosion radius.

He said he hears, he hasn't personnaly tried it, in regards to aiming it is identical to the stock, but it IS NOT A ROLLER, THE BOMBS VERY RARELY ROLL UNLESS LIKE ON A STRAIGHT HILL, basically in spots where the stocks rollers wouldn't work the Iron Bomber's pills stop right next to the enemys feet even if you miss.

I use roller to refer to pipes that don't hit people and bounce. "Fallers" just doesn't have the same pizaaz as rollers.
