Help with Logitech G13 Analog Stick
Hey guys, I'm in need of some help as I'm stumped. I recently purchased a Logitech G13 gamepad (essentially a mini-keyboard with a joystick) for a really good price that works and have not had any problems with other games. However it's haveing an issue with Team Fortress 2 in that the analog stick on the gamepad no longer wants to work with TF2. It was working fine for a while.
So I double check it's set to analog ( not four-way), tried in another game that still works. I tried plugging in normal 360 controller that still works for TF2. I even tried enabling, disabling, deleteing and downloading the various config files for TF2 so now I'm can't get the joystick to work in the game.

Does anyone have a G13 that they got to work fine (in analog) or might know a fixing method?
Or maybe know some console commands to change axis controls?

I don't really want to do a complete reinstall if I don't have to.

Why would you gimp yourself like that?
Learn to play and use Keyboard+Mouse, or just don't play at all.

I've been playing Team Fortress 2 since it was in beta, so you can say i've got the hang of the controls lol
I just wanna spice things up and having analog movements and mouse aiming will do just that for now. There's nothing hindering me in terms of gameplay, only techincal issues.

Yes I have enabled Gamepad in mouse settings. I have tried toggling it back and forth with an actual 360 controller too to see if I could "trick" the game into seeing the G13 Joystick but to no avail.

I'm pretty sure someone like that would have a bit more than just above 1,000 hours.

Getting TF2 to work with a G15 (or G13, or G19) display

Hmm...thanks for that bit. Didn't think there was such support for that in TF2. Though all the info I'd need is on the screen already. But I'll tweak around with that and maybe it might detect the joystick?

Well I got the game to display on the tiny screen but it didn't fix the issue. I'm running Windows 7 64-bit and I'm sure it's a source engine or TF2 issue. the G13 works fine in other games.

I'm now thinking I might have to use some 360 controller emulator or such but would that be against VAC or such?

No. as long as it does not modify engine code, you and, or inject code.
