You can get glasses that act as sunglasses. Normally their just green or yellowish lens, like the Snipers, so you can still distinguish colors.

I have glasses in real life, but wear contacts at school, work, and when I'm out. I really only wear my glasses when I'm chilling at home or on my computer, and a lot of the time at home I just don't wear any corrective at all, so its practical he could just take them off to chill.
