Team Fortress 2

How do I fix the default HUD?
I don't play any custom hud. I play the default hud in Team Fortress 2, the original one, the one that everyone starts off with and I like it. Now, the problem is that it is broken a little. My ammo and HP images are still there, but they got smaller, the timer of a match got smaller. AND, the special bars that appear next to your ammo number, when you use certain weapons, for example: ''Boost'' for Baby Face Blaster, ''Jarate'' for Sniper, ''Rage'' for Soldier, ''Food'' for Heavy... Those special bars are broken too. They are vertically above the ammo number instead of being next to it and the letters got smaller and uglier. There is no team color around those bars anymore and this displacement really botheres me, for example when I have the Dead Ringer and it's loadin and I also have the Diamondback equipped and it shows how many crits I have on it... because of the bar, I can't see the number of crits. It really botheres me and it has happened before. Any solutions??

Right click on tf2, click on properties, go to the "Local Files" tab, and click "Verify Integrity Of Game Cache...". If that does not work take a screen shot so we can see what the hud looks like and try to help.

I think you have a resolution problem. Go to your control panel, display settings, adjust resolution.

Go tinker with the resolutions, not sure which one would fit your screen.

When you start TF2 go to adv. options (bottom of the main menu), scroll down to hud (3rd section), and dissable minimal hud (should be the first one) and click OK once done. I turned it on and tested it out and it game me the same result as in your screenshot.

It looks fine to me. I think you may have enabled "minimal hud" which makes it.. well.. "minimal" . I use that HUD all the time.
