Team Fortress 2
My mouse randomly stops working while playing tf2
This didnt start happening till a few days ago and now it wont stop. At random times my mouse won't work for about 2 seconds and then goes back to normal. It does every 1 or 2 minutes. The mouse light still stays on when it stops working and I can move around like normal so it isnt caused by lag. Any ways to help other than buying a new mouse?

USB drive or flash problems? How to cleanup and remove ...reboot and windows will reinstall
http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/dead-usb-port-heres-how-to-diagnose-and-fix-it/

just do the Check Device Manager part no need to play with windows reg

Click on Uninstall. Repeat that process for any remaining USB Host Controller. Now restart the computer. This will force the computer to poll for these controllers and, hopefully, pick up the one that isn’t responding.

While you’re in the Device Manager, did it seem like there were an awful lot of devices installed that might no longer be in your computer? Sometimes the drivers stay lingering on your computer, long after the device is gone. This is a good time to clean those out, and we have just the article on easily removing old drivers from Windows.

Did that work for you? No? Let’s go deeper then.
