Giftapult not working

So, here's the story.
I use a key to open a Mann Co Directors Cut Reel and it turns out I get a taunt I already own. Since nobody wanted to trade on trade servers like always, I decide to giftapult it to somebody. Here's where my problem starts: I load the giftapult with my spare taunt but I cannot use the giftapult at all! Can anyone help me on this???

Valve really needs to get their act together and fix TF2 before they focus on new weapons and cosmetics. It's not an opinion, it NEEDS to be done.

I just said I bought a key to open the Reel.

Same issue here except whenever I choose the "Use with" menu option on the giftapult and select a tradable cosmetic item from the Confidential collection the item remains in my inventory. The giftapult remains in my inventory after I've confirmed the wrap.
