A way to get a crate key as F2P?

I don't want to spend money in the game, and I got #92 lying in my backpack, so it's currently using up my space, since I got no key. Any way to get a crate key for free?

No. Unless you add money too your steam account and buy something off the TF2 Store. Then earn a ton of coins in Tremor Games or one of those sights and cash them in for a key.

In all serious though, Begging is really the only thing you can do, and no one likes that.

unboxing mini gun kit and razorback is not good unbox since the ref of it is small plus its only 50 cents in community market so you basically wasted 2 dollars and also luck of unboxing unusual is 15% and if you unlock 5 crates in a row you WILL get a 45% chance to unlock unusual... just informating

The mini-gun kit was a killstreak kit I think. I don't remember. And someone told me it was a 1% chance of unboxing an unusual....But whatever. Thanks for clearing that up.

Try looking at the TF2 metal market and buy the items you want from other people with metal. In many ways that's better than keys anyway because 1. Metal is free, you get drops over time and 2. You're guaranteed to get the item you want, rather than try your luck with uncrating.
