Quick Question: What does L2P mean?
I am currently playing on cp_orange_x3 as a Pyro, and I keep getting called L2P by the opposing team, is this an insult, a compliment, or something I should just ignore?

Ah, thanks... Not sure why they would be saying that, considering I am making short work of them.

I'm surprised they didn't call you W+M1 instead

Probably because I was using the Degreaser + Flare gun crit combination.

you were playing pyro
they were essentially telling you to play a 'real' [core] class like scout/soldier/demo

if you were sitting inside the tower and m2ing them, they have reason to complain since airblast is cheesy, low effort, and generally unfun to deal with
if you spent that time out in the open, it's their fault for not range-griefing you because pyro is a joke outside of airblast range

I was just running around the map shooting flares and airblasting them. The average Pyro gameplay basically.

Ew, a Degreaser baddie. Flamethrower is the best primary for Pyro. Period.
Degreaser is for scrubs who can't play Pyro.
Degreaser isfor Pyros who think Pyro was meant for frontlines. Pyro is a flank ambush class.

Basically what I said. Also, true.
Pyro, like all classes, can be used for many different things.
You could have a Pyro focused on protecting Sentrys and other Engineer Buildings, hunting down Spies and stopping them in their tracks.
Or if that isn't the kind of gameplay you're looking for, you could select a loadout designed to be a quick-killing, Projectile repelling sprayer of flaming death.
Just like with any other class, there are different loadouts for different gamestyles.
It just so happens that more people like to play as an offensive Pyro rather than pocketing an Engineer.

No, not really. If you enter a comp game with stock flamethrower you will get mauled. Pyro is only viable against skilled players with degreaser.

Also, stop calling them "baddies". Please tell me where your "honor code" is, stating that you aren't allowed to use certain weapons, and if you do, you are bad.
