Team Fortress 2
first time TF2 how do I know if i kill???
Hi just tried a couple of matches and i like the game. but i don't understand why it doesn't show like "enemy killed" when i get a kill. just a notify on the right corner. Is that all? I don't get that satisfaction to play without an "enemy kill" sign. YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN??

You can go to advanced option and add damage put on enemy and make it play a sound when you hit/kill

thats about all I got

You can taunt and make the person you just killed mad. If that's any satisfaction for you.

ok, let's say i kill you on the game. exactly when you die i want to see on the center of the screen "enemy killed". this is what i see on all FPS games usually. there are also "double kill" "triple kill"

There are some special servers that do that.

interesting! how to find them? special? means "pay"?
You could get killstreak weapons which notify the entire server of your badass nature should you obtain killstreak in multiples of five (5,10,15,20 etc)

You need a killstreak kit applied to a weapon for that to happen. It goes off every 5 kills.
I've played this game for years and I have never had any trouble at all knowing if I really did kill who I killed.
The guy you're shooting at falling dead on the floor alone is enough to tell you he's dead, combine that with a plenty obvious notification in the corner, damage indicators, and hit sounds and you shouldn't ever be in doubt.
An "Enemy killed!" notification would just be redundant.

I completely agree what you say, but I just wanted to know, cos i usually find this particular on a lot of FPS games so at fisrt match i was confused. i will enable all the possible sounds and visuals to make it as i like :)
You can buy regular killstreak weapons pretty cheap they notify you of how many kills youve obtained per life in an area on your HUD
also every 5 kills displays to the whole server your on a killstreak

i would say enabling sound and damage number is almost essential for tf2 since there are so many stuff that negates damage, reduces or restores it - medics, mad milk, concheror, dead ringer, darwins shield, demo's shields. IF you dont have damage numbers enabled its going to be very hard to predict how much youve hit an enemy for.

The killfeed is on the top right corner. If one of the results shows in a white box, you either got the kill or the assist.
