Frontier Justice
The Wrangler
Gunslinger
I like to play this in two ways, place the mini-sentry around a corner that gets alot of traffic, and run away. The senty will get a few kills before the enemy team catches on and destroys it, then run in there with 6 - 8 crits and kill everyone.
The other way I like to play this loadout is to put the mini-sentry in an agressive spot (The last points on payload maps, right by the enemy spawn is good), then wrangle it and get lots of kills, which is easy since a wrangled mini-sentry is hard to take out (can withstand more damage than a regular sentry), and can easily be replaced once taken out.
This often leaves me with about 6 - 8 kills from my sentry, so I have 12 - 16 crits that I can dominate everyone with before doing the same thing again.
SECOND LOADOUT:
Frontier Justice
Short Circuit
Gunslinger
Basically, you build the mini-sentry in a very high traffic area (you can do this right next to the payload cart while being shot at) and then use the short circuit to defend it against incoming projectiles, since they are 90% of what threatens the sentry gun. You can just hold M1 while the sentry builds and it is almost gaunteed to fully build without taking any damage. This can be really effective, but I don't use it often because it seems a bit unfair (like random crits).
Frontier
Pistol
Gunslinger
You can farm crits with the mini and in addition the Gunslinger gives you a slight health boost. The smaller clip size is nullified with the pistol sidearm which you can spam. Having no crits is a joke when you are farming with the gunslinger anyway. All you have to do is get an assist with the mini and you get one saved crit. Every kill is 2 saved crits. Just keep spamming minis and destroying them to gain crits. You can also use the mini to escape from bad situations since 8/10 times players will go for the mini as opposed to going for you. Throw one down and run your ass out of there. Also helps with flanking maneuvers. Mini is most effective in a group setting though. Have your team put pressure on the enemy while you sneak around and set up a mini at the enemy's rear. It will catch any reinforcements the enemy has and take out anyone trying to flee.
Only reason I wouldn't use the short circuit is that it drains your metal count and only works well at close range (it is also a little bugged in how it protects you from projectiles). I've found the pistol much more versatile and effective especially since you can spam the bullets at mid range for full damage.
I don't remember who it is, but, I remember seeing someone with a Strange Gunslinger, called "Fun.exe has stopped working."
That kinda sums it up.
If I use the gunslinger I use the stock shotgun, not the frontier justice.
That said, use the Southern Hospitality.
