Ambidextrous.

I forget many people aren't.

The dead ringer doesn't work like the other cloaking devices, instead of turning you invisible when you activate it, all it does is show up in your hand when you click mouse 2- until you take damage. When you take damage, any type of damage, it makes a fake corpse appear, making it look like you died, and turns you invisible, again, to make it look like you died. It also reduces damage taken by some high percentage when your invisible, but I forgot what percent.

Haha, I'm a lefty too, I'm used to using the righty-mouse, because I'm unfortunately unable to find a mouse that fits my hand properly. What is a mouse you reccomend using?

Also, how could you forget about this Earth being dominated by righties?

It's pretty good, just hard(ER) sneaking behind enemy lines.

I find disguising as a friendly on your team is equivalent of moving to behind the enemy lines. When you "die" it even leaves a corspe behind of that friendly teammate so that way, they won't know a spy's there in the first place.

Interesting people neglect/don't know about this.

edit: punctuation and grammar UGH

I use the Ambidextrous Razer DeathAdder or Abyssus for work and games, but I always reccomend Logi MX610 and other Logitech series in general for less long hours stuff.
Zowie FK1 is also godlike.
SteelSeries last longest, but is more likely to give you minor electric heatburns.

Just have to keep in mind that there are a lot of mechanics it doesn't fake, and many people it won't reliably fool especially if they're not quite distracted by your teammates. The hope isn't so much that they think that they killed you, but that they have better things to do at the moment than attempt to follow an invisible enemy who for a while has incredibly high damage resistance.

(The time is reduced when you take damage, but I don't know by how much.)

Anybody who picks up your dropped 'weapon' might notice that they didn't get any ammo or metal from it, for instance. People who track their score or kills will notice that they didn't get any points or rack up a kill count. There are other tells, but those are always present.

Stand in front of an enemy and say "COME AT ME BRO" then run.

Well, it's kind of awkward when you're disguised and running towards your "team"

He means to disguise as a member of *your own* team. You're really RED, disguised as another RED player, running towards the BLU zone -- BLU will see you as enemy, but they may not realize that you're a spy (although the fact that you're not attacking should ring some alarm bells unless you're also fake reloading).

Obviously, that doesn't work very well if the player you're disguised at is near enough that somebody sees two with the same name at the same time... or if you're disguised as a scout or medic, because you'll still go 100% speed and not be able to double-jump. It'll work better than looking like a BLU player running from the RED side of the map, though.
