How to look like a War Soldier [TF2]

Ive been looking through everything lately and come across a question, what cosmetics (Excuse my grammer problems) will make our Team Fortress 2 classes look like old classic people from the historic wars? Wars like WW2/World War 2, Civil War, World War 1/WW1 and more?


Answer below to help people like me and an alot of others know what cosmetics to wear.

It might be easier if you just pick a class you want to play as, and then browse through all the cosmetics available for that class on the TF2 wiki.

Once you have an idea of which cosmetics you might want, you can look them up in the in-game store and use the paint preview feature to see how they'll look on the character model with certain color combinations.

Well, my Medic is wearing two cosmetics based on German WWI and WWII uniforms.

Ward: Based on the overcoat worn by infantrymen.
Combat Medic's Crusher Cap: Based off the common Panzer and Infantry field cap. It even references WWI in it's description, as the "Big One."

My best suggestion before the cosmetics you want is to go onto Loadout.tf . I do suggest this site to give a person a visual of their character.
