G-Man is Grey Mann

we have seen universes interlocking before, when portal came in contact with half-life.

One of the biggest mysteries in the VALVe universe, besides for the pyro's gender, is who G-Man really is.

Well, I saw this comic book for kids called G-man, but I doubt it has anything to do with that. What I am talking about is that his indentity is actually Gray Mann from tf2.

Well, Firstly, you might say that G-Man actually stands for Government man and the fact that 2 random charecters both have a G in their names is utter coincidence.

Well, of course what you're saying might be true, but you haven't disproved my theory. Valve has set numerous hints to other games within other games. Whether they made so much sense or not.

You see, the portal universe starts roughly around 1943, where Cave Johnson recieves some kind of award, while the tf2 univers starts roughly around 1963 and Gray Mann makes his first appearance in 1971.


times are slightly off but they don't have to be exact because of how the 3 Mann brothers are able to live for a very very long time and Gray's whereabouts where unknown before 1971.


Well, I could go on rambling for about 20 more paragraphs, but this thread will most likely just get ignored, like most others, so here is the full theory:

The Full Theory

It will soon be discovered in the TF2 universe that Gray has gone missing, (we will have to find out what actually happens though), he gets conagher to build him a time machine, of which he uses along with other advanced technologies to go back a few years for the purpose of gathering info of other planets so that he can truly dominate the world.

He acts as an anonymous character throughout the half-life series to try to lead gordon into becoming the perfect specimen to replicate, or at least implant his genes in his robots some sort of way. To make sure no one later on in his life (in the tf2 timeline) doesn't notice something weird, he takes on a new identity, stilll liking G and the color Grey, he dies his hair black, a very dark shade of grey.
