how do I 1v1 with my friend?
hey everyone, sorry for sounding stupid but how can me and my friend 1v1 on this game? if I make a server and make it password secure, he can't join for some reason as it says ''server not responding'' any ideas?

Dueling Minigame
You can get it for at most a rec.
Its an item that you can challenge to someone to a 1v1 duel.

I recommend going on a tc_hydro server, that map is a ghosttown

Type in mge into the map filter on the server browser to get My Gaming Edge mod servers, they are the only servers where you'll get a good 1v1 experience with no chance of people ruining it.

thanks everyone.
we joined a turbine server i played last year, so there was no people
however after a few minutes some dude joined so...

if i make a server secured password he cant join for some reason, neither can I when he does. it suck a bit

I told you already, MGE is the way to go.

Thats because you need to create a dedicated server or a hitachi server (hitachi is horrible though)

Create server option? Idk, maybe it's only for LAN players.

Install hamachi
Create a network, your friend gotta connect
Create a server in game (the launch server button)
Type in console:
sv_cheats 1
sv_lan 1
map [name of the map that you wonna play on]
It's gonna load the choosen map, now your friend just hace to type in console connect [your ip from hamachi]
And woila! You can 1v1 with a friend
