Duck Journal- Duck sounds, can they be heard by other players?

duck journal had/has a seperate function other than being a useless update item

that being if you use your 'Use Item In Action Slot' key, it plays a duck sound, similar as how noise makers were used. however, unlike noise makers, players dont seem to react/hear the duck sound actually being played except for yourself


is there any reason for this? or am i completely wrong & EVERYONE can hear it.


as a side note, is it like a speaker, where if your closer to the person who used the duck journal 'duck sounds' itll be louder, whereas if your farther, its more quite, perhaps even silent,

or is it like a loudspeaker, where EVERYONE on the server can hear it

My friend could hear the duck sound. I doubt it is server wide though.

The duck sound is hearable by everyone but its just not that loud. You can use it every 10 seconds or so.
