Refuse to kick off AFKers? Won't carry you.
Won't go after the objective? Won't carry you.
Haven't familiarised with the basics of the game? Won't carry you.
If I can switch to the other team to teach you a valuable lesson about teamwork, I probably will. If I can't (or the other team is just as incompetent) - welp, plenty more servers in the sea.
And it makes me even more mad when they get angry at the team.
So I choose to not deal with that crap and leave to a far better server.
Entire team of snipers, don't care.
Half the team AFK in spawn, don't care.
Team of terribly F2P, I don't care.
You have to be optimistic about the outcome. Sure we probably won't win but that's not the point. My personal rage comes from: Walk out of spawn, dead. Walk out of spawn, dead. Etc.
I do look for a happy outcome... But after a few rounds of the same team not learning what has went wrong, then it is about time to high tail out.
True, but if I'm on a team of noobs someone often calls scramble after a few rounds of losing. Alternatively, enough noobs leave that actual good players come and we can manage to win.
You could be the 1# player in TF2 and not be able to carry that.
Just leave and hope for a better server.
