You generally have to be a bit more direct with it being a homage or parody.
If valve ever did decide to sue, that's probably how roblox would play it out, but there's a difference between taking the design and rough general function from something else and genuinely making a homage or parody.
This is about the fact that the launcher is practically identical, despite being a unique and original (and therefore copyrighted) creation and design by valve.
Sticky bombs of some form themselves exist in many games, but the stickybomb launcher is a different case.
And if I see it this way, as some nerd on the internet, what would a court see it as?
The looks are all it has in common with the Stickybomb Launcher.
