It's not copyright infringement.
It's homage.

This.
It could also be classed as parody.
And both parody and homage are protected under fair use laws.

It would be different if it was called "Stickybomb Launcher", that would be outright copyright infringement and theft of intellectual property.

"Parody" definitely seems right, since it shoots "stickies".
As in, sticky projectiles that TRANSFORM INTO WALRUSES THAT SAY THINGS.
Really. I'm not joking. That's actually what it does.

I wouldn't know, considering i stopped playing ROBLOX long ago when the ads on their site were trying to give me viruses.

So yeah, we'll go with the fact that it's parody and therefore protected under fair use.

You missed the memo.
Roblox partnered with Disney.

Also Roblox has a lot of "copywritten" stuff.
Their official stuff aside, all the fan stuff is copyright incarnate.

I posted the walrus launcher as an idea on SPUF as a joke. I doubt it's a coincidence they both stole the sticky launcher model and an idea on the TF2 forums.

I would find the thread I made, but it's so old I can't find it, so you'll just have to take my word for it. I don't think anyone would believe that ROBLOX is not terrible enough to steal crappy ideas, though.

ROBLOX and their items can range from game items or things from movies like big hero 6 if they had really used this as a real weapon in game it would be copyright notice it says a social item and used for comedy they only got the Sticky bomb look from tf2 so calm down

Try explaning parody to youtube. anyway, I believe the product may actually be different enough that it wouldnt be considered copyright violation even if it wasnt a parody.

ROBLOX Corp does not mean to infringe anything. Stickybombs can be used by anyone, and Valve didn't invent Stickybombs. It's just a little reference.
