Why do people paint their Ghostly/Ghastly Gibus'?

It just seems like a waste in paint, the only conclusion I can think of that a/an f2p got their hands on a paint can...

Pink as hell is an awesome paint that should not be wasted, at least paint a Max's Severed head or Bill's Hat with it

i remember having that pink gibus for halloween 2012. sometimes i miss the simple times of being a f2p. tobad i deleted my gibus for some reason. can't even pretend :(

I was never F2P. I painted my Gibus Golden to troll people who think that only skrubs wear the gibus. Getting your ass dominated by a Golden Gibus soldier not only trolls these morons, but teaches them not to do threat assessement via hat.
