Strange Weapons... Are They Worth It?
I have played team fortress 2 for a couple weeks now. I really like the game mechanics and the interactions with other players. I see that a lot of other players have strange weapons and it feels like those weapons are so much better than the originals. So my questions are: Do strange weapons give you an advantage? Are strange weapons worth the price that they are listed for? And if so, which of those weapons are good for which classes?

Strange weapons will not give you any sort of Advantage, but sometimes show experience.

strange weapons are worth it but does not change the stats or gameplay in any way, its just your thinking.

Strange weapons give no advantage other than tracking how many kills you have obtained with said weapon. There's no stat boost, worth increase, or anything of the sort.

It's mostly for OCD people like me to take note of every kill we make or for glory hounds to brag about their strange levels. The only worth they really have is personal value (outside of trading value that is).

I like strange weapons, but they don't give you any kind of advantage. It's mainly for bragging, "Look, I have 10,000 kills on my rocket launcher."

no. buy your first hat. that gives you +10000000000 skill. and no- strange/killstreak and australium weapons shows that you have no idea what to do with metal you have. nothing else

get a strange smg and rack up as many kills as you can. doesnt matter how you do it as long as it is legit, and you can make people wonder why tf you have so many kills. i find that the huntsman is good for farming smg kills if the other teams has a lot of the weaker classes. just shoot someone with an arrow from across the map and follow it up with 1-2 smg shots.
