Have four different teams try to get their bombs past certain check points or have 2 v 2. Maybe two carts vs two defenders.
Trying to imagine this hurts my brain.
Ooh, actually I can imagine this. Two teams would win each time. Only 1 attacking team is able to win, yet both defending teams can win.
If one of the attackers wins (let's say Blue defeats Red) then the other attacking team (Yellow) would lose to the defenders (Green).
This way, there is no single winner, rather an incentive to be one of the winning teams. Anyone can attack anyone, but Red tries to outlast Green, and Blue tries to beat Yellow in the race. In addition, Red's incentive to attack the Green team is to let Yellow win, which would secure their victory, and vice versa. Alternatively, Blue would attack Yellow so that their progress is slowed to allow themselves to win.
The only flaw in this is that Red has no incentive to attack Yellow, and vice versa, and Green has none to attack Blue, and vice versa.
TF3 Confirmed
On the other hand, if Valve manages to pull this off, they might be able to resurrect TF2 to its former glory.
New models are easy. Recolor the mercs to green or yellow. Probably the same for cosmetics. If that is harder than it sounds, then I am sorry for assuming it is.
