Renaming Yourself In-game

How do you rename yourself within the Team Fortress 2 game? I know it's possible, since I saw a few people do it, but I don't know how. Help?

TF2 uses your steam name. In order to change that, open the steam overlay while in-game and go to settings.

tab and shift, right clock on your picture in the corner, and hit the change name thing.

Well wait a second, the only people who change their names in-game are people trying to dodge votekicks. You cannot change name in-game, and report people doing that as it is suspicious.

However, to answer the question, you need to edit your steam profile.

Sorry, you can't really say someone is doing something fishy just because they are changing their name in-game. It isn't against the rules either.
