Chat / Voice Commands not Showing, FIX

If anyone today noticed that all of the sudden anything you type in chat or any voice commands you use aren't showing up in chat for you, I figured out the solution.

There was a patch today 10/1/2014 that among other things did:
"When you mute a player, the mute settings now apply to text chat as well as voice chat. If you want the previous behavior, change convar cl_mute_all_comms to 0. "

Sometimes I mute the entire server when I don't want to listen to them by clicking the top player on the mute list and shift clicking to the bottom person and muting everyone (myself included, didn't affect anything previously). If you had yourself muted it would now make you unable to see your chat due to this patch change.

Other people could still see your chat, but you cannot. To fix it go to the mute menu and unmute yourself or you could use the command they told us to revert it to how it was before.
