After recording the "meet the" with red, they couldnt do it with blu.
Besides, RED is allways cooler.
And it's just because they like to have one team for advertising, and happened to choose red for it. Frankly, I think they look way better.
Maybe the bots werent too robotic in testing or somthing. Etheir way they should of made the bots grey, it make more sense
The reason the robots are slightly blue-ish than grey-ish is to fit in with the gamemode themes, which is blu attacks and red defends. Another reason is grey looks terrible on it's own. It's like you're playing on black and white. A third reason is people are generally terrible and are more likely to attack each other than the bloody robots. Have you never seen halloween events with bosses? there's always going to be a person or two trying to cause a war.
This is why they should have made the bots grey with lights on them.
