Which is better?

Spy-Cicle is for high-rofile Spy players. Ones that don't mind leaving reminders that a spy just went and killed someone. Because it leaves a statue behind. Your Eternal Reward might be better for you if you like the hit-n-run playstyle.

Your eternal reward is nice but if I kill someone with it they won't see my cosmetics in the kill cam, so obviously spycicle is better

It depends on the situation and your playstyle.

Spy-Cicle is good for when the enemy team has a pyro hunting spys.

Your eternal reward is good if you are good at sneaking or trickstabbing.

I think Spy-cicle is unquestionably the best Spy knife. Its kill effect is still more subtle than stock, or at least quieter, and its only other downside is you can't use your knife when hit with a flame... but considering a Spy is dead when coming into contact with a Pyro anyways, and this thing actually provides you with resistance, giving you the possibility of a get-away, it just seems all-around better.

If you mean through backstabs, then you run into a lot of idiot Pyros who turn their back to you for some reason, or otherwise can't react to your maneuvers. I never get backstabbed as a Pyro after igniting a Spy. If you mean with a revolver, then the Spy-cicle's still better because you can pull it out and attack without taking the initial fire damage.

I trickstab Pyros even when they flame me, assuming they don't airblast me.
Usually, I just gun them down. Headshot with the Ambassador alot of the times

I'd use the Y.E.R because it makes you feel more like a sneaky spy making you have to earn your disguises. I also like the fact that if you backstab an engie with it you instantly get the disguse so the sentry won't target and possibly kill you.

spy-cycle all the way, you get a 2nd chance from avioding pyros and it's a silent killer. the Y.E.R takes away your desguise kit and practicly makes you an open target

For the common person, spy-cicle and stock would be preferrable
But for those trickstabbing, super sneaky, 360 stair stabbing spies, Y.E.R is better.
