Team Fortress 2
There is no ragebait on this forum
I keep seeing people wining about so-called "ragebait" on this forum when in reality it is nonexistent. People are getting mad over anyone having an opinion on anything.

Whether it be it on friendlies, #KIllWindows, TF2bers, or wanting more diverse representation in TF2. Everyone should be allowed to have their opinion without it being labeled ragebait or clown award bait.

Here's a fine example of a better made bait. A topic suggested is relatively unusual, and the start of the message looks similar to what some genuine newbie would write. Clown award is mentioned only towards the end and non-directly. Baiters, pls learn from this and do better, most of forum baits are really boring.
yeah theres also no #killwindows posts either, can you please make one
This title is giving me some serious Deja Vu here but I can't explain why...

yeh right no rage bait? thats like my daily thing
Ragebait is the way the internet in general runs. Why bother with positivity when you can start some drama and controversy, if the results speak for themselves?
Coincidentally, I've watched a video on youtube about this very topic today.

Given that this is the case, Steam's forums inherently also contain ragebait.

everything is ragebait if you interpret any and all text as personal attacks aimed directly at you
Look at these and tell me ragebait doesn't actually exist.

I only went through the first 35 pages of ragebait and picked the most extreme examples. If I counted award farming, I could fill an entire post with just "add X representation to TF2".

Go ahead and explain why those specific threads aren't ragebait, then.
Heck, look at how many "ban X for X" threads have popped up today. "Ban Jews for invading Gaza" (not every Jew is from Israel), "Ban Americans for voting in Trump" (Valve is American, by the way), "Ban [an actual TF2 player whose name I have to leave out] for killing eighteen people" where the Answered post says OP keeps naming and shaming players. You want to tell me all of these were made in full seriousness and aren't just jumping off the wave of "Ban X for X" threads (like the Representation threads) or trying to start arguments?

Hell, the American thread LITERALLY is asking for Clown awards.

I linked the threads below just in case.

the third one was a joke thread made by the user in the title as a joke parodying the other threads. don't tell me you thought it was an actual attempt to trick people or something?
