Guess what does a HTML MODT allow?
Also, puzztake is a malware distribution site / infection vector.
Soo, ya better do a full system scan.
This seems to be the suggested action anywhere I ask, so thanks for that. For some reason it’s been hard to get a straight answer anywhere, and I really didn’t think I’d be getting it on the tf2 discussion board honestly.
And in turning off that, it should stop any connection attempts?
I did pull a full scan, but it again was just a warning that an attempt to connect happened and not an actual infection.
Yea, turning off HTML MOTD should fix this... if it only popped up during your TF2 playsession.
Full system scan suggestion was just for precaution. You can never know what else was trying to get in, nor if it was successfull at infecting your PC.
