Anyway, have you tried using a different lightwarp mod? It might help fix the black shading issue.
If that doesn’t work, you could check your Steam Cloud save files and edit the config.cfg to adjust the settings. Alternatively, you could ask people on gamebanana. They are more knowledgeable about these things rather than the average user here.
I'll post a "tutorial" in here just in case someone else needs it, but thanks for the help
TUTORIAL FOR THOSE WHO NEED IT: turns out the problem was even though I hadn't touched it it, my dxlevel was set to the lowest possible setting (which is in launch options) I set it to -dxlevel 90 which is the one that works for me, and after I did that I put the command "mat_dxlevel 90 in my config then got rid of -dxlevel 90 in the launch options (its best to do this cause theres a strange bug where if you have -dxlevel 90 in your launch options it resets your video settings everytime you launch the game, removing the tediousness of changing them everytime Hope This Helped Anyone!
