How I got scammed by a "Valve Fraud Prevention Team"

At about three in the afternoon, a strange man added me as a friend, claiming that he and his friend had been cheated on a trade for unusual items. He gave me a link to a post that listed the profiles that players had repeatedly complained about stealing their items. I assured him that the only trade I had for an unusual item was for a mock Spy, which was made with a ♥♥♥ on scrap tf.
After that, I asked him for his contacts with the moderation, and he gave me a link to this person: ( was removed bcs of rules )

I wrote to him, we talked, and in order to “remove me from the scammer list” I had to give him some of my items to check if they were stolen, etc. So, like a drunken, tired ♥♥♥♥♥, I asked him a hundred times if it was safe, and he said it was safe, and then he sent me a trade from his newly created account, and after that I sent all my most precious items to that profile.

After that, he said that now I have to pay 100 dollars in cash to do this verification process, and of course I don't have that kind of money because I spent it all on New Year's gifts. After that, he said there was another way: log out of the Steam account and not log in for a whole day. I asked him to return the items because my trust in him was beginning to fade. After half an hour of conversation and my hysteria, he just blocked me and that was it. I appealed to everyone, even the moderation didn't help.

To be honest, I didn't care about those items because most of them are quite cheap on the community market. Still, some of them were from my dear friends, some of whom are no longer alive. For example, my new AWP sniper rifle, which was a gift from a friend of mine who died on Christmas Eve. I even named it after his real favorite sniper rifle, the Alligator, and even left the description in his own words as he described it.

I hope that we as a community will be able to find him and punish him for everything he did. And I hope there are even those who could help restore the items that were stolen.
But my hope in humanity had already died.
