SourceOP.com servers returning
So the OG's from sourceOP (yes the devs too) decided to spin up the old 24/7 2fort servers again. We're working on getting a euro and US based server going. Anyone that played on them before knows how well the community was run and how well the servers always ran. I'll update the thread once we have IP's for both and they're ready to go.

I have to imagine regulars from back then meeting up on this server again. Assuming they find out about this server's reappearance.

I'm friends with a few of them on Steam, so I reached out to them and yes, they are stoked to join once it's ready. Drunken F00l is even back from ValvE and involved in the return. They have a discord where we're discussing it.

YAY! i wanted to start playing again, but my fave servers weren't around any more.

We're working on getting the other servers back up and running, I think the old heads are wanting to see if the Instant respawn servers take off. But in the mean time, I think next on the list is the prop hunt server. I will talk to them about spinning up a non-instant respawn 2fort server

We need to see first how the US/EU based servers are running.

As Marcus said, the EU/US servers are up, and mostly set up. But we need a larger player base for suggestions to further improve the servers.

We got the old "hlstatsx" ranking back up again: https://rank.sourceop.net/

But I'm afraid we do not have the old data anymore, so it'll be a fresh start.
