Demoman hasn't have a character arc in the comic series.
Or even the engineer but he doesn't need to since his family created the chain of unfortunate events that caused the deaths of probably hundreds of thousands and engie knows this and is regretful on helping someone who couldn't move on from their past.
Pyro is just there. Doesn't contribute anything to the story but the fighting only.
And some laughs while being an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ by killing 2 classic mercenaries that were about to turn over a new leaf but ruined that for some... dark comedy...?
Story ends that's it.
Only stories left to tell is going to be made by fans that'll take place after the events of the administrator arc or made completely separate from the comics.
Personally, Now I want a mini series of Saxton Hale trying to be a responsible Dad while a side story of Bidwell and Reddy trying to manage mann co as the new owners while having no idea how to exactly run it. Shenanigans ensue. Basically "the office" but it takes place in mann co.
Responsible Guardian*
Which he already was, after he told his butler assistant to keep watch on Olivia being in the big world, and make sure that she can actually buy something she needs.
Maybe they decide to venture into SPACE.
I mean in the TF2 lore Australia was formed from the meteor that wiped out the dinosaurs.
Australium came FROM space.
Could see an entire game with that premise. "Go to space to find the source of that rock, while also taking over planets"
With a semi new cast, some of the old character returning older with new weapons.
Promo trailer could be the main team walking in slowmo to the rocket.
With the two teams being hired by Saxton Hale and a mysterious owner of the other group.
Later revealed to be an AI made by Gray Mann before his death *Was self learning, and evolved over the years*
Engie does do one of the arguably most important things in the comic though. He stops Ms Pauling from going down the same dark path that the administrator did by convincing her to get rid of all the australium, finally breaking the endless cycle
I reread the 6th comic again and kind of regret typing that now due to the vague implications.
It's been like 7 years since I last reread the 6th comic. Sorry if my memory is foggy.
I don't think that pyro is a women, my guess he is a crazy old man.
