To those who are worried about the TF2 game servers after reading the 7th final comic...

Mate.
If Valve ever decides to shutdown the servers for TF2...
They will announce it WHEN they want to shut it down.
If TF2 generates revenue for them. It's going to stay up for a long time. As long they keep making money off of it.
Don't forget that they also profit off of TF2's community market sales from tax.
It's Valve's decision after all. So when that day comes and it will come.
It'll probably happen after most of the veteran or old TF2 players are long gone or in their 60's.

Also mann the **** up. TF2 is a great and all but it's not perfect.
You don't have to be paranoid that the 7th comic is marking the beginning of the end of TF2's life.
It's literally a finale to the story and lore of the game.
That's like crying that you can't play your favorite game anymore because you completed the main story.
Pokemon, Fallout, FPS Campaigns (The good ones.), RPG's, JRPG's, Indie games, Live service games, HELL even Minecraft.
All these games are still replayable after you complete them. It all depends if whether or not if you WANT to go through it all again.
Also community servers. They exist when there are no official servers for the game anymore or if you want to play on maps with instant respawn or whacky maps and gamemodes that you usually don't see on the official servers.

If your still butt hurt about all of this. Just comment down below on how paranoid you are on the comments. Maybe you'll find some common ground with others who feel the same as you. Or get criticized by others.
Or you can throw and hurl insults at me. I don't mind. Because all of this happened like in a span of a day. People react differently than others when processing information that they're still trying to digest.
So if you got beef or something about this discussion lets bicker among ourselves to pass the time of our lives so that we can probably produce something good out of all this.

I agree. Even then, I think the fan made media of tf2 is better than official ones. Winglet has probably one of the most well crafted sfm sagas out there. The creator of emesis blue will most likely make another banger in like 7 years. The end of the comics doesn't mean the end of the mercs. You can just ignore the ending and make your own stories, or just play the game more.

Just say that "Artifact is still playable, so why would TF2 be shut down?" It conveys the point rather well and calls attention to an immaculate game that deserves more spotlights.

Revenue isn't even the main aspect of why this game is still supported. It's probably just a nice bonus for Valve, because why wouldn't you collect free money from your infinite money glitch.

Best opinoin here, for some people finished stroty can feel a little sad, because there is no room for continue but for me it feels like valve still don't forget about the game, at least they made good ending

Well... community servers are a thing, so even with the "official servers out" i doubt that other hosting services would pull the plug if server hosts still pay for it (and they do pay for it)
