Weeeeell... Demo is the only awkward one. Valve are on record stating that they only made him black because the stock white scotsman just felt too generic and boring, not good enough, but this simple change elevated him to something else. And honestly? I kinda agree. I just can't imagine a stock scotsman demo anymore, it feels wrong, like something is missing.
To reiterate: this wasn't done out of any ill will, or political reasoning - it was purely just "we look at him and he's just BORING, and we can't have boring in our game, so we changed it".
The best part? He's still clearly a scotsman. Acts like one, talks like one. its perfect.

Pyro has been a curious case. I remember the times in early 2010s where he was just defaulted to being a dude, with occasional "funny" easter eggs hinting that he might not be, none of which ended up anywhere and remained just that - easter eggs from 2012-2014, before all the... Current-dayism blew up.

Same situation with H+M: going nowhere either.

Valve being on BabyInc detection also means nothing for TF2 currently. It appears they only been helping with Deadlock so far (it shows) and maaaaaybe HL:Alyx, but i did not notice anything so eh.
