Fun fact. If you get 10 civilian stat clocks and 10 civilian grade war paints of the same series that they're in. You can trade up to get a statclocked version of the freelance warpaint.
They all must be stat clocked/strange in order for the upgrade to work otherwise it'll automatically fail if one does not have a stat clock equipped or isn't strange.
However a word of caution if even one wear grade is not the same as the rest of the war paints it will down grade the quality to the wear to the least quality that was most used when trading up.
Example: 9 factory new war paints and 1 minimal wear will always make it minimal wear on the upgrade because it's the lowest quality. If you want to make it factory new on the upgrade you MUST have all 10 paints to be factory new otherwise it'll be of lesser quality.
Haven't tried this in a long time so please take my words with a grain of salt and with caution when trying to do this advanced gambling.
No, the stat clock upgrades it to strange.
If it was strange it wouldnt need the stat clock
