How does this game relate to CS:GO in terms of moving while shooting?
Is your accuracy penalized in this if you shoot while moving? Does it vary weapont to weapon?

No, they both use the source engine so how the game works is the same (but not the actual gameplay, gun stats, ect)

Nope. Tf2 is alot less tatical than CS. It focus's more on teamwork which you'll never find in a pub.

You aren't penalized at all? Even with the sniper?

Tf2 is much less serious, play when you want to have a good laugh or shock, play cs go to be serious.
The tf2 sniper rifles does way less damage (50),but when you hit in the head (I heard that's really usefull for rifles) it does a crit (150),which sometimes still isn't enought.
4/9 classes can't be killed by that.
But here's what valve did to stop quickscopers, when you're zoomed in you'll charge a meter, and the higher the meter the more damage you'll do,until it can one shot any class regardless of the overheal or not.
Except one thing, but that's important for now.
edit,2 things, vaccinator and fist of steel.
edit,3 things with BBackup.

The only aiming penalty is firing quickly. Your first shot will be perfectly accurate, but continuing to shoot will start the random bullet spread.

And there are hitscan weapons and projectile weapons, hitscan is like an insta laser while projectile is a slow ass ♥♥♥♥ who flys at you at the speed of nothing.
You can better just forget cs go while trying out this game,it's the best.
It's probaly like looking at 2 brothers, the one is always serious and competitive while the other is the clown of the house.

Are there any games out there that don't hitscan? Where you would actually have to lead aim slightly ahead of someone if you were far enough away?

Guys you read the title wrong
he is asking about hit detection

Tf2 has a tons, like Rocket launchers which aren't stupidely OP,grenade launchers which aren't stupidely op,and of course the lucksman, looks funny until you get sniped from 30 meters away.

In tf2 recoils dont exist so compare to cso , who need to aim with hitscan weapons anyway
SirP1zza Jun 14, 2015 @ 11:08am
Oh right, there's no rifles, only sniper rifles,shotguns(/scatterguns) and miniguns, those are like the only really effective hitscan weapons.
