Team Fortress 2
All my soldier cosmetics are gone
Hey! I had some soldier cosmetics, a hat and a jacket looking thing and now they've just vanished? They're not equipped, they're not in my inventory. I checked my inventory history and found nothing that would point towards a hack. I have steam authenticator and that would've sent me a notification. I restarted the game and low and behold, still missing!
Steam item servers report no problems, so I'm stuck.

Cosmetics were the Control Patrol and the Field Fatigues

I spent money getting these cosmetics! Please help!

Don't log into sketchy sites next time. You should check for API keys as well, there should be nothing listed here:

I don't know how many more threads and years have past for you people to learn not to click on LINKS you are not familiar with. Sheesh.

It's like some players don't have common sense for once, If a rando sends you a suspicious link. Don't click on it, because your items can get stolen by a hacker or scammer. If you want items, go to the market or a trusted Tf2 market website
If you never click on phishing link, then that account is compromised from the started and you have to explain yourself on how you get that account from, I've seen too many accounts with +10 year badge with less than 5 badges and have no clue on what they're doing with their accounts.
Maybe Valve should put a warning reminder for players, to never trust suspicious links and messages from the unknown. That includes trades, because hackers can interfere trade transfers.

Pretty sure I haven't clicked on anything suspicious? I don't know how they got in. I've secured all my accounts now and the user is trade banned but I can't get my ♥♥♥♥ back. I had some stranges and killstreaks also stolen from me as well as my aussie which I'd had for ages.

They got my password and switched my steam guard to their device somehow, so I got no notifications it was happening. 1st trade was on the 5th and the 2nd trade was on the 6th.

I stand corrected. I clicked on a link sent by this guy. I am a massive idiot.

Are you kidding me, Valve should've sent you a message. That's how lazy the Valve trust and safety is, if a players account got hacked or you received a unknown link from a scammer. They sent you a message and help you with the situation, come on Valve.
