Do people still play mann vs machine?
Well it's all in a title. Have one ticket collecting dust, and the game mode seems pretty fun, but I don't want to spend half an hour in queue.

bud to finish an tour you need more than just 1 ticket

an update last november changed something in the matchmaker which accidentally causes excessively long queue times

i heard increasing the ping limit helps but idk if it actually works

Oh. And you can only buy them, right?

Either way, it at least gets me some fun.

I play with a few friends every weekend. I solo queue sometimes to and get games.

Also more people are playing/discovering potato mvm during these matchmaking issues. Some people just stay with potato because (most) of the missions are better.

you also get to choose exactly which server you join

The matchmaking issues introduced in their November 2024 update are real but a supposed solution is to increase your ping limit to be able to find games on official servers.

I assume they adjusted the game coordinator to actually take that into account before it tries to match you into a game.

I very frequently got placed into US Virginia and L.A. sometimes even Washington servers but since this update have not once been matched into a server outside the EU.
I know that they added new server clusters for EU players as well, giving their coordinator more options.

I would assume that they did the same for the other regions of the world but a lot of people in the Australia and Asia regions seem to have problems matching into games.
