Team Fortress 2
Dragon's Fury
Is it good or bad?
I don't like it because reflect slow. Doesn't feel like it needed that downside. Its already worse at annoying spies, the main reason to play pyro

Silly, the spy is the weakest class in the game as it is, you don't need pyro to "annoy" him. No, the pyro is to harass the whole enemy team.

Normal flamethrower can already kill fast enough at close range but its not as good if not supplemented by something else. On the other hand, Dragon's Fury absolutely melts everyone and everything as long as you keep landing your shots. Heavy dies to five fireballs, four if he was already burning from your detonator/scorch. Was he overhealed and pocketed? Welp, three more fireballs and he still dies. Soldier dies to 3 fireballs, or 2 fireballs and reflected rocket cuz he forgot you still can airblast unlike phlog. In fact, DF largely surpasses phlog in direct damage capability. Extra reach on fireballs is also nice, both max range and width that often allows hitting sentries without getting seen by them (you still need a solid direct hit on enemy players for full damage tho).

Increased airblast cooldown and less capability to spray and pray are fair downsides, but its a good trade. You're less of support pyro and more of a frontliner with this weapon. Let your teammates cover areas you don't. Also, don't forget that detonator/scorch help covering area for ignition, and give some ranged reach for where you would otherwise only hit with airblast. Jetpack is also isn't terrible option if you can handle aiming DF unassisted.

landing shots with the dragon's fury is more fun than using stock, therefore it is objectively superior.

once you know how to handle it, it is superior to other weapons
possibly my favorite projectile to reflect, since im probably already burning the pyro already its minicrits ontop of crits, absolute madness

Yes, the matchup of normal flamethrowers vs DF is interesting. Stock can easily airblast a fireball for massive dmg and is much easier to hit at close range when the two pyros circle around each other, but DF has a small range advantage and, if airblast misses or is jebaited, will outdamage stock. All four outcomes can be expected as a result.
