TF2 Sound is REALLY low! Help!

So basically, when I play TF2, the sound is really low. It is lower than I would like for it to be at max volume, so very low. When I play other steam games, and do other things on the internet, there are no sound issues. Also, TF2 sounds normal with earbuds in, but Idk what would be wrong with my headset sense everything else works fine. Leave any opinions down below?

Hm...Maybe is their a volume control on your headset? Or maybe your volume when headsets are plugged changes, that happens.

Could be a combination of:

- Microphone set to always-on rather than push-to-talk, plus
- Lower application volume when microphone is in use (IIRC, that's a possible setting in the Windows audio control panel)

My headset is a logitech H540, btw.
I did what toaster said, and I don't think what gameman said applies.
